Pewter:
Use mild soap on a wet cloth and dry and buff immediately. This will return the pewter surface back to its pristine condition. A Jewelers Cloth can also be used. Please keep in mind that pewter wants to age and the patina occurs naturally. This patina is part of what makes pewter so captivating to own... I tend to keep the patina.
